"Marry Me, My Dear" comes from a legend about a beautiful Eskimo girl with long black hair who was walking along the beach picking berries. Along came a fulmar. He saw the beautiful girl, swooped down, and cried, "Marry me, my dear!" She replied, "No! I'm not going to marry an ugly bird!" With that, the fulmar flew off and changed into a handsome young man. He walked bact to the girl and asked, "Marry me, my dear?" And she did.
