A voyage on the M.V. Tustemena of the Alaska State Ferry fleet, from Seldovia to Unalaska, takes four days. That might be considered a long ferry ride but the time flies. Stops are made at numerous fishing communities. The ship's accomidations are comfortable and the food is good, the scenery is outstanding. Bird watching is a favorite pastime with poker coming in a close second.
