Winter Storage is one of my paintings I've done of my Starr Hill neighborhood. When the owner of the boat saw the painting his face lit up and he said, "I was afraid the neighbors might not like the idea of our boat wintering in my front yard." I assured him that on the contrary, it added ambiance to the already unique neighborhood. The young man in the foreground is the family's son heading off to school.
